Why your labels got more expensive
Since July 12, 2026, USPS Ground Advantage commercial prices bill sub-1-lb packages at the 15.999-oz rate for rural destination ZIPs, AK/HI/PR and APO/FPO — only the destination matters (USPS final rule).
Since October 18, 2026, eBay Labels adds Geo B / C / D destination groups on top of standard pricing (overview).
eBay publishes the ZIP groups but no rate table — you only see the real price when you buy a label. And rates are now shifting weekly (details).
FAQ
What are Geo B / C / D?
Destination ZIP groups eBay introduced for USPS Ground Advantage labels on Oct 18, 2026. Geo C + Geo D (17,866 ZIPs) match eBay's earlier rural ZIP list; Geo B covers the rest of the listed ZIPs. eBay says some go up and some go down — the group name alone doesn't tell you the price.
Does this apply to Etsy or Pirate Ship labels?
The Geo B/C/D grouping is confirmed for eBay Labels. For rural pricing since July 2026, what matters is the destination ZIP: sub-1-lb commercial labels to rural ZIPs bill at the 15.999-oz rate regardless of where you buy the label. The rural list used here is Geo C + Geo D. We have not found official confirmation that Etsy/Pirate Ship use the Geo B grouping.
Where does the ZIP list come from?
From eBay's public geo-based pricing page (pages.ebay.com/usps_geo_based_pricing), retrieved 2026-10-26: 25,491 ZIPs (Geo B 7,625 · Geo C 14,275 · Geo D 3,591).
Is my data uploaded?
No. The CSV is parsed by JavaScript in your browser and never sent anywhere. You can open your browser's Network panel and watch: uploading a file produces zero requests.
How accurate are the cost estimates?
Estimates only. If your export has a label-cost column, we use your real label prices. Otherwise we use the prices you type in. Your actual label price is what you pay at checkout, and we don't predict future rate changes.

How to use — step by step
This tool answers one question: of the orders you actually ship, how many land in ZIP codes that cost extra — and what does that cost you per month. It works from the order exports you already have.
Export your orders as CSV from your platform. Etsy: Settings → Options → Download data (Sold orders). eBay: Seller Hub → Orders → Export. Shopify: Admin → Orders → Export. Pirate Ship: Reports → export your shipment history.
Drag the file into the box above, or click it to browse. The file is read by JavaScript inside this page — it is never uploaded.
The tool finds the destination-ZIP column automatically. If your export uses unusual headers, a picker appears so you can point it at the right column yourself.
Choose your label source. If you buy labels through eBay Labels, keep the default so Geo B is tracked separately. If you use Etsy labels or Pirate Ship, pick the other option so Geo B folds into standard.
Type your own label prices — what you pay for a standard-zone sub-1-lb label and what a rural one costs you. These drive the monthly estimate.
Read the four stat cards, the per-group table, and the copy-ready summary. Then decide: absorb, adjust prices, or switch to calculated shipping.
How it works
Since July 12, 2026, USPS Ground Advantage commercial prices bill sub-1-lb packages at the 15.999-oz rate when the destination is a rural ZIP, an Alaska/Hawaii/Puerto Rico address, or an APO/FPO box — only the destination matters, not where you ship from. In October 2026, eBay Labels layered Geo B / C / D destination groups on top: Geo C and Geo D (17,866 ZIPs combined) match eBay's earlier rural list, which is why this tool treats C + D as "rural" and, outside eBay Labels, folds Geo B into standard.
The ZIP list in this page — 25,491 codes in total (Geo B 7,625 · Geo C 14,275 · Geo D 3,591) — was taken from eBay's public geo-based pricing page. Your rows are counted per group, duplicates of multi-line orders are collapsed to one order each, non-US rows and malformed ZIPs are excluded and reported separately.
The monthly estimate divides your export's date span into months, multiplies each group's order rate by its cost difference from standard, and sums it. The per-order uplift is the share-weighted average difference; the price-increase figure grosses it up by your platform fee percentage so the raise survives the fee deduction. These are arithmetic projections from your inputs — actual label prices at checkout always win.
Frequently asked questions
Does the rural list ever change?
Yes — eBay can regroup ZIPs and USPS can adjust pricing. The list on this page was retrieved on 2026-10-27 (25,491 ZIPs). Re-run the check after any carrier announcement; the page footer always shows which list date you're using.
My export has a label-cost column. Can the tool use it?
Yes. If a cost column is detected (Pirate Ship exports usually have one), the tool computes each group's average from your real label prices and uses those instead of the prices you typed.
Why does my eBay export show odd first and last rows?
eBay order exports start with a summary line and end with a totals line. Both are skipped automatically; you'll see a note counting them.
Is any of my order data uploaded?
No. Parsing, ZIP lookup and math all run in this page's JavaScript. The only network call is an anonymous counter that says a scan happened — never what was in it.
