Strong password generator
Random passwords from your browser's crypto API — generated locally, never transmitted, never stored.
Generated with crypto.getRandomValues on your device. Nothing is sent anywhere or logged. We can't recover a generated password — copy it into your password manager immediately.
How it works
Passwords are drawn from crypto.getRandomValues — the browser's cryptographic entropy source. Entropy is computed honestly: bits = length × log2(alphabet size). A 20-character password from a 70-character alphabet carries ~122 bits, which is beyond any practical brute-force attack; length matters more than symbol variety.
Frequently asked questions
Are these passwords safe to use?
They're as random as your device's entropy allows and never leave this page. Safety then depends on you: use a password manager, never reuse, and turn on two-factor authentication where it matters.
Why is length better than symbols?
Each added character multiplies the search space; a longer password from a smaller alphabet usually beats a short one crammed with symbols — and is easier to type.
