Image rotate & flip

Turn photos the right way around or flip them for mirror effects — then download. Everything happens on a canvas in your browser.

JPG, PNG, WebP. Processed locally, nothing uploaded.

Every operation applies to the current canvas state, so you can combine (rotate, then flip) freely. Rotation is lossless at 90° steps — pixels are rearranged, not interpolated.

How it works

Each button redraws the image on a canvas with a transform applied to the current state — rotate 90° steps rearrange pixels exactly (no interpolation, zero quality loss), while flips mirror the pixel grid. The result downloads as a lossless PNG.

Frequently asked questions

Why does the file become a PNG?

PNG export keeps every pixel identical after the transform. If you need JPG and a smaller file, use the Image Compressor after rotating.

Does it strip EXIF orientation?

Yes — the output carries no metadata, and what you see in the preview is exactly what downloads.
