How it works
The selection rectangle maps 1:1 to canvas pixels, and Crop copies exactly that region to a new canvas for download. Drag inside the box to move it, drag the corner grip to resize, or press Select all for the full image.
Frequently asked questions
Can I crop to a specific aspect ratio?
Not yet — drag freely and watch the pixel dimensions in the info line. A ratio-lock is on the roadmap.
Does cropping re-compress the image?
The download is a lossless PNG of the selected region. For a smaller file, run the result through the Image Compressor afterwards.
